Using your purifier safely.
Mains water only
Connect to a treated mains cold water supply. Do not feed the system from a well, tank or hot water line.
Do not dismantle it
Only a YORK-certified engineer should open the housing or change a cartridge. Opening it yourself may void warranty.
Genuine cartridges only
Non-genuine cartridges are not tested against the certified filtration rating and are not covered.
Flush after a break
If the system has been unused for more than a week, run it for two minutes before drinking.
Keep it upright and dry
The Smart system mounts vertically. Keep the unit and its power supply away from standing water and direct heat.
Watch the app
Fault alerts and filter warnings appear in the York app before performance drops. Act on them when they appear.

Warranty periods depend on professional installation by a YORK-certified engineer. Self-installed systems carry a 12-month warranty. Relocating a system without proper reinstallation may void cover until it is correctly reinstalled.
